I wonder

I wonder sun

I wonder sky

I wonder a lot

I wonder balloons

I don’t wonder war

Or smelly socks

Crumbly cakes, things that flop

Or people being cruel

I wonder stars

And black night sky

I wonder storms

And billowing clouds

I don’t wonder fences with barbed wire

I wonder peacocks

I wonder happiness.
